Jaye is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, skilled in all aspects of psychotherapy with a diverse socio-economic, age, educational, and ethnic backgrounds. Experienced in supervisory skills. Highly skilled in DSM-V diagnosing. Skilled in public speaking, creative, analytical, and detailed oriented. Jaye is a Certified Clinical Medical Support Hypnotherapist and Fellow of the International Board of Hypnotherapy. Trained in many aspects of hypnotherapy.

Since 1990 Jaye has been employed by various psychiatric hospitals and later, the Neuropsychiatric center where she teamed with psychiatrists completing crisis assessments.

In 2008 Jaye helped create the Crisis Intervention Response Team. Jaye was assigned to the Houston Police Department and Harris County Sheriff’s Office, responding to emergency mental health calls. There was considerable interaction with the general public through NAMI, MHMRA, the Harris County Courts and the Houston Council on Alcohol and Drugs. Jaye is also trained by the FBI in hostage negotiation and crisis de-escalation. She has experience preventing crisis situations and suicide prevention.

Ten years ago, Jaye decided to take her experience in a different direction, opening up her own private practice that includes both psychotherapy and hypnotherapy. Jaye also worked at The Harris Center (formerly MHMRA) for 20 years as a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner.

She also served as adjunct professor at the Lone Star College. Teaching in both the fields of psychology and sociology. Jaye also presented in different conferences and symposiums nationwide.
